Dr. Carlos Lonberger

Lead Pastor
Pastor Carlos was the worship pastor at Christ’s Community from 2007-2013,  returning as the Lead Pastor in the Fall of 2021. He is passionate about helping you find your place in the body of Christ. After planting a church in Chicago, Pastor Carlos spent almost eight years teaching and working as the Director of Church Relations and the Director of Graduate Programs in the School of Theology and Christian Ministry at Olivet Nazarene University. Pastor Carlos completed his Masters in Pastoral Leadership (’14) and Doctorate in Ethical Leadership (’19) at Olivet Nazarene University. Married since 2003, Pastor Carlos and his wife, Kristen, have four sons (Camden, Colson, Caiden, and Christian), and they all are huge Chicago Cubs fans.

Chad Olds

Creative Arts Pastor
Pastor Chad came to Christ's Community with his wife, Shelley, in 2016. Pastor Chad has always felt a call to teach and share the importance of worship in everything we do, and serves as the Creative Arts Pastor overseeing all things related to worship, tech, and media. At the Southwest Indiana District Assembly in 2022, Pastor Chad was ordained as a Deacon in the Church of the Nazarene. In his free-time Chad enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife and daughter. 

Jen Allison

Executive Administrator & Pastoral Care Coordinator
Jen and her family have called Christ’s Community home since 2005. She enjoys working in the office as it gives her the opportunity to be involved in the daily life of the church as well as giving her the opportunity to be a friendly representative of Christ’s Community to people that she comes in contact with - whether in person or on the phone. Jen enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends and two very spoiled fur-babies.

Greg Berdych

Community Care Pastor
Pastor Greg and his wife, Jackie, arrived at Christ's Community in December of 2021. When they are not traveling and doing volunteer mission work, he assists Pastor Carlos in providing pastoral care to the church community. When free moments present themselves, they tend to be filled with baseball, reading, or a good movie.

Kristen Lonberger

Family Ministries Director
Kristen began leading our Family Ministries in the Spring of 2023; she holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Olivet Nazarene University and is working on her Master's in Organizational Leadership. In addition to her role at Christ's Community, Kristen is the Chief Operations Officer Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center; a faith-based non-profit organization that provides pregnancy support for expecting parents. Kristen is an avid reader and plant lover; she's been married to Pastor Carlos since 2003, they have four sons.

Marji Orr

Community Early Learning & Childcare Director
Marji came to lead Christ's Community's daycare, as Director of Community Early Learning and Childcare in August of 2022. Marji holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Olivet Nazarene University and she began  her professional career investing in the lives of young people around the globe; as a licensed english and social studies teacher in Cheonon, South Korea at the Nazarene Foreign Language Institute.  In 2013, Marji returned to the states and taught children from preschool to High school. Marji and her husband, Jeremy, have four children; they all love camping.

John Griffin

Associate Pastor
John joined the team at Christ's Community at the end of 2023 to work in the area of discipleship, as well as other areas; he is passionate about cultivating kingdom-minded communities. John grew up at Christ's Community and married his wife, Jamie, here; so it is  home for the Griffins and their two daughters. John has a Bachelor's in Theology ('21) from Olivet Nazarene University, has been part of a church plant team, a worship pastor, and most recently, a family pastor before returning to Christ’s Community. John enjoys the outdoors, spending time playing music, building things, and participating in anything sports related.
