Pastor Dan came to Christ’s Community as Lead Pastor in 2013. He and his wife Lois have two married children, both serving in Christian ministry with their spouses. Their son Nick and his wife Laura serve the youth and their families at Christ’s Community, while their daughter Emily and her husband Donald serve at Camp Echoing Hills in Ohio – a Christian ministry for special needs adults, teens and children. Pastor Dan enjoys target shooting, antique and muscle cars and motorcycling.
Nick has served as the Youth Pastor at Christ’s Community since October 2013. Nick has a wonderful wife Laura who, according to him: “puts up with me on a daily basis” and she does a phenomenal job of serving by his side. Nick loves working out, playing video games, watching and playing all kinds of sports, and is especially passionate about Notre Dame football.
Chad joined the staff in August of 2016. He and his wife Shelley moved to southern Indiana after meeting and attending college together in Illinois. Chad and Shelley are originally from different areas in Michigan, and are happy to now call southern Indiana home. Chad enjoys playing tennis, art, anything Star Wars-related, recreational shooting, hiking/camping, and going on adventures with Shelley.
Terri VanHoose started her position in August of 2016 after attending the church for many years prior. Terri is married to her husband Tim, and is a mother to three grown children and grandmother to four. Terri loves children, animals, and arts and crafts.
Lois Leamer joined our staff in October of 2017. She and her husband Philip have been attending Christ’s Community since June of 2015. Lois and Philip have two boys, Jared and Jeremiah, and one girl Kaitlyn. She loves to sing, scrapbook and organize, but her favorite thing is spending time with her husband and children.
Barb has been attending Christ’s Community since 2013 taking on the role of Child Care Director in September of 2017. Barb has been working with children & families for over 30 years. She has 2 grown daughters, and 2 grandchildren. Barb moved to Indiana from the Seattle area to be nearer to her daughters and their families. In her spare time she loves to do paper crafts – especially scrapbooking, and she loves to read and bake.
