History
Christ's Community was originally formed as Eastside Church of the Nazarene in August of 1950 and moved to its current location in 1978. We are blessed to still have some of the church's original charter members, several of whom made great sacrifices - even mortgaging their own homes - for the church to get started, still as a part of the community. Through God's blessings we have been able to work through several building projects over the years that have provided a wonderful facility that has grown to meet the needs of the congregation. However, the story of a church is not told by a building; it is told by its people and the lives that have been effected by the love of Christ. We believe the greatest stories that will tell of our history are yet to come.
